CANOPUS-GBS - SAP CO Consultant - MM/FI Modules

Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant with 58 years of hands-on experience in configuration, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will play a key role in both production support and new developments, working closely with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage SAP CO module, including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, and Product Costing.

- Ensure effective integration with MM-FI and SD-FI modules.

- Perform data migration using LSMW and other standard SAP tools.

- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide resolutions (including OSS notes research).

- Support end users and stakeholders with ongoing system requirements and issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

- Provide production support and perform impact analysis for new changes and enhancements.

- Follow project methodologies and documentation standards.

- Participate in onshore-offshore coordination, reporting regularly to team leads and project managers.

- May be required to work on weekends based on business needs and management directives.

- Replicate the Controller role within the SAP CO environment and provide business-aligned solutions.

- Track and report weekly project status and time logs according to project requirements.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP CO module.

- Strong knowledge of MM-FI and SD-FI integration points.

- Expertise in LSMW, interfacing techniques, and data migration.

- Familiarity with Financial Accounting (FI) and General Ledger concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to collaborate with business users and technical teams.

- Ability to work independently in a results-oriented environment.

- Experience in working within onsite/offshore models.

- Knowledge of SAP best practices, project documentation, and support ticket handling.
