Role Description :

We are looking for an experienced GitLab Technical Consultant/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team at Canarys Automations Limited, located in Bengaluru South.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, upgrading, migrating, and commissioning GitLab servers and solutions.

The role will involve working closely with clients, understanding their unique challenges, devising strategic roadmaps, and delivering innovative solutions tailored to their needs.

You will be participating actively in customer-facing events, delivering presentations, and conducting comprehensive demos showcasing GitLab capabilities, particularly in CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps areas.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead GitLab implementation projects, including server setups, upgrades, migrations, and commissioning.

- Engage closely with customers to identify challenges and requirements, developing clear roadmaps and strategic solutions.

- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab.

- Advise customers on best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps using GitLab.

- Conduct customer demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions on GitLab.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

- Represent the company in events, conferences, and workshops, showcasing GitLab's functionalities and capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of relevant experience with GitLab implementation, administration, migration, and upgrades.

- Deep understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and DevSecOps principles.

- Proven track record in customer-facing roles, demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to analyze customer requirements and formulate strategic and actionable solutions.

- Experience in creating documentation, solution architectures, and strategic roadmaps.

- GitLab Certification (GitLab Certified DevOps Professional or similar).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) integration with GitLab.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
