Camera System Engineer - C/C++ Programming

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop camera systems software across Android Kernel, HAL, and Framework layers.

- Work on Linux device driver/kernel module development for camera sensors and related peripherals such as flash, actuator, and EEPROM.

- Leverage Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipelines for real-time and offline camera processing.

- Develop robust, multi-threaded applications in multi-core environments.

- Conduct system engineering and algorithm design for advanced camera use cases on mobile devices.

- Ensure code compliance using Google Test Suites and adhere to Android platform standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex camera issues across the Android software stack.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and product teams to deliver high-performance camera features.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Android Kernel and Camera HAL development.

- Experience in Linux device driver/kernel module development for camera components.

- Sound understanding of Android Camera Framework and its integration with HAL and kernel layers.

- Proficiency in multi-threaded and multi-core programming.

- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with Google Compliance Test Suites and Android platform certification processes.

- Familiarity with camera ISP pipelines and hardware abstraction.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.

- Experience working in camera-focused or mobile phone OEM environments.

- Exposure to tools and methodologies for camera tuning, calibration, and validation.
