Job Title : Calypso Java Developer

Experience : 5+ Years

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Java Developer with strong expertise in Calypso customization, Java development, and capital markets/trading operations. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Calypso implementations, workflow customization, and support of front-to-back-office trading processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Calypso Platform (Version 16 or above).

- Develop and enhance applications using Core Java (JDK 1.8 or higher).

- Customize and support Calypso Workflows, BO Messages, BO Transfers, Scheduled Tasks, Reports, and Engines.

- Work closely with Operations and Business users to analyze requirements and implement solutions.

- Support trade lifecycle processes including settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Participate in system enhancements, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Calypso & Java

- 5+ years of overall IT experience.

- 3- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso Development.

- Strong experience with Core Java (JDK 1.8+).

- Extensive knowledge of Calypso APIs and customization framework.

- Experience with :

1. Workflows

2. BO Messages

3. BO Transfers

4. Scheduled Tasks

5. Reports

6. Engines

7. Capital Markets Knowledge

- Basic understanding of financial instruments, especially :

1. Equities

2. Foreign Exchange (FX)

- Knowledge of trading and post-trade processes :

1. Trade Settlement

2. Reconciliation

3. Reporting

Additional Technical Skills :

- Strong SQL query writing skills (Oracle/Sybase).

- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.

- Experience with version control tools such as :

1. Git

2. SVN

- Ability to work directly with Operations and Business users.
