About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Developer to join our Mumbai-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Calypso platform development, trade processing, and capital markets, with hands-on experience in customizing and integrating Calypso modules to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Customize and enhance Calypso workflows, trade capture screens, and messaging interfaces.

- Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems (e.g., market data, downstream reporting, clearing systems).

- Work closely with business analysts, QA, and other developers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

- Participate in the full SDLC including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support Calypso applications in production environments.

- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong understanding of capital markets, derivatives, fixed income, FX, and/or securities.

- Expertise in Calypso customization, workflow configuration, and messaging services.

- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and related integration technologies.

- Experience with Calypso APIs and interfaces (Market Data, STP, Risk).

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Agile methodologies.

- Experience in cloud or containerized environments is a plus.
