Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation scripts for validating SD-WAN and networking solutions.

- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as pyATS and vTest/Digital Twin.

- Perform end-to-end testing of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) components including vManage, vSmart, vBond, and cEdge.

- Develop and execute functional, regression, scalability, and performance test cases for networking features.

- Validate routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP), VPNs, IPsec, QoS, and routing policies in SD-WAN environments.

- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, GitLab, and Docker.

- Use traffic generators such as IXIA and Spirent to simulate network traffic and validate performance and reliability.

- Debug and troubleshoot automation failures, network issues, and Python code defects.

- Collaborate with development, network engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, execution reports, and automation documentation.

- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation coverage and efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and processes throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements :

- 4 to 8 years of experience in test automation and networking domain. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) architecture (vManage, vSmart, vBond, cEdge).

- Strong Proficiency in Python scripting and automation frameworks. Experience in automation frameworks pyATS, vTest/Digital Twin (preferred).

- Solid understanding of networking concepts routing (OSPF, BGP, RIP,IPsec, QoS, routing policies), VPN, QoS, IPsec, SD-WAN architecture (vManage, vBond, vSmart, cEdge). Exposure to traffic generators (IXIA, Spirent) for validation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Docker, etc.) for automation integration. Strong debugging skills in both networking and Python code.

- Familiarity with test design methodologies (functional, regression, scalability, performance).
