Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD VLSI Engineer to support and enhance CAD/EDA infrastructure for advanced semiconductor design projects. The role involves developing and maintaining design automation flows, integrating EDA tools, and supporting the needs of digital and analog design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain EDA tool flows and automation for front-end and back-end VLSI design.

- Customize and integrate tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics into design workflows.

- Write and manage automation scripts using Python, Perl, Tcl, and Shell to streamline design tasks.

- Set up and maintain design environments, tool configurations, and license servers.

- Troubleshoot EDA tool-related issues and provide timely support to design teams.

- Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to improve design productivity.

- Maintain documentation for flows, tools, and usage guidelines.

Required Skills :

- Solid understanding of VLSI design flow: RTL design, synthesis, STA, place & route, and sign-off.

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell).

- Hands-on experience with EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and/or Mentor Graphics.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).

- Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

- Prior experience in CAD/EDA infrastructure support or development.

- Exposure to physical verification, RTL linting, or low-power design flows is a plus.
