Role Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Mumbai, you will be the bridge between software development and IT operations, ensuring the seamless deployment and stability of our enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our platforms, enabling the business to deliver high-quality software updates to customers with speed and precision.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability and performance for global applications.

- Design and automate CI/CD workflows using Jenkins to accelerate the software release cycle and reduce manual deployment errors.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to maintain consistent and reproducible environment configurations.

- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to optimize resource utilization and application portability.

- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting frameworks to proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks or outages.

- Automate routine operational tasks and system administration duties using Python and Shell Scripting to improve team productivity.

- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all cloud environments to protect sensitive business data.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex cloud computing environments and large-scale distributed systems.

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies with a deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster management.

- Strong command over Linux system administration and the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues at the OS level.

- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable automation scripts in Python and Shell to streamline infrastructure management.

- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support rapid development cycles in an agile environment.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering roles within a fast-paced software development environment.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site setup in Mumbai, demonstrating adaptability to evolving project requirements and team dynamics.
