The developer will play an integral role in the ongoing evolution of a mission critical, highly distributed service-oriented platform that underpins present value, P&L, and risk calculations for intraday, end-of-day, ad-hoc scenario analysis, and back testing.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues in Bengaluru and our global team in New York, driving the scalability as we onboard new features and financial instruments.

This role involves not only building new scenario types, optimizing cloud-based performance, and modernizing user interfaces, but also proactively addressing and reducing technical debt to ensure the long-term stability, reliability, and growth of the system.

Cross-team communication and a commitment to engineering excellence are essential as it continues to support the firms most vital operations.

Qualifications :

- A degree in computer science or financial engineering

- 5+ years of experience as a developer

- 3+ years of experience developing on a team for pricing, P&L and/or risk systems

- High Proficiency in C#, SQL

- A solid understanding of service-oriented architectures, messaging bus architectures

- A basic understanding of FX, Rates, Credit, Futures, Equities, and their pricing

- A self-motivated quick learner

- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment

- RabbitMQ, Redis and python are nice to have
