About the Role :
We're looking for an experienced Business Systems Administrator with a strong Salesforce background to own and support our revenue and customer-facing systems. This role will be responsible for Salesforce administration, building and maintaining fields, objects, and flows, and ensuring integrations remain stable as metadata changes across systems. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Do :
- Work in JIRA managing tickets (backlog, on deck, in progress)
- Participate in weekly ticket grooming sessions
- Handle both project-related tickets and smaller one-off requests
- Work independently on tasks with clear acceptance criteria
- Ask clarifying questions when requirements aren't clear
- Be resourceful using teammates, Gemini, AI tools, etc.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in a systems, business operations, or revenue operations role
- Deep hands-on experience administering Salesforce
- Experience working with integrated SaaS tools across GTM and CS teams
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work US Central Time hours
- Senior enough to be resourceful and confident building solutions independently
- Able to take direction but also provide guidance when needed
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (nice to have)
Must Have :
- Salesforce Administration (certified)
- Building Salesforce fields, objects, automations, and flows
- Managing system integrations and downstream dependencies
- Experience with tools such as Outreach, Marketo, Gainsight, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking mindset
- Salesforce Admin functionality :
- Adding new users
- Creating custom permission sets and profiles
- Creating fields in Salesforce
- Creating formula fields
- Salesforce Flows :
- Creating and updating flows
- Building approval processes within flows
- JIRA experience for ticket management
Nice to Have :
- Agent Force experience (huge advantage)
- Comfort joining stakeholder calls to provide technical input (after ramping up)
- Ability to solution technical challenges and assess feasibility

- Work hours starting between 8-9am CST
- Timezone : CST
- Communication tools : Slack and Google Meet
- No incentives or commission component
- Action-oriented and self-directed
- Comfortable working as a "task rabbit" on assigned tickets
- Strong communication skills for asking questions and clarifying requirements
- Adaptable to Melody's preferred communication methods (Slack, email, calls)
