About the Role :
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop and maintain API integrations, web services, and Power Platform connectors to support third-party and Microsoft ecosystem integration.
- Perform data migration tasks, write custom reports, and optimize BC modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, QA teams, and end-users to gather business needs and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration failures efficiently and thoroughly.
- Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and solution design documents.
- Keep up to date with the latest BC releases and Microsoft product updates to recommend improvements and maintain system compatibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
1. AL language (Business Central modern development)
2. C/AL and C/SIDE (for legacy systems)
3. Business Central Extensions (v2.0)
- Experience with web services, API consumption/exposure, and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps, VS Code, and Git version control.
- Understanding of Business Central architecture, including data models, table relations, and event-driven programming.
- Experience in SQL Server : writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to Power Platform tools such as :
1. Power Automate (Flow)
2. Power BI (basic report integration or visualization)
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes, including finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing modules.
