Role Overview :

We are looking for a Core Business Analyst with strong experience in business process analysis, workflow automation, and ServiceNow platforms.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into efficient, automated workflows and system solutions.

This role demands strong analytical thinking, hands-on experience with workflow-based systems, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis & Requirement Management :

- Work as a Core Business Analyst on enterprise applications and workflow-driven systems

- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders

- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Prepare detailed BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams, and use cases

Workflow Automation :

- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for workflow automation and optimization

- Design and document end-to-end automated workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of workflow automation solutions

- Support UAT by validating workflow logic against business requirements

ServiceNow Involvement :

- Work closely with ServiceNow developers and administrators to support implementation and enhancements

- Provide functional inputs for ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Request, Problem, or custom workflows

- Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, and configurations from a business perspective

- Assist in defining ServiceNow process models, SLAs, and approval workflows

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Act as a liaison between business users, product teams, and engineering teams

- Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution reviews

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery

- Support change management and user adoption initiatives

Testing & Quality Support :

- Create and execute UAT test cases and validate business scenarios

- Support defect triage and clarify requirements during testing cycles

- Ensure solutions meet business expectations before production release

Documentation & Governance :

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and traceability

- Ensure compliance with internal governance, process standards, and best practices

- Support audits and process reviews related to automated workflows

Mandatory Skills :

- 4+ years of experience as a Core Business Analyst

- Hands-on experience in Workflow Automation (minimum required)

- Working knowledge of ServiceNow (mandatory)

- Strong experience in requirement gathering and documentation

- Experience working with workflow-based enterprise applications

Technical & Functional Skills :

- Workflow automation concepts and tools

- ServiceNow functional understanding (workflows, approvals, SLAs, forms)

- Process modeling (flowcharts, BPMN, swimlane diagrams)

- User stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT scenarios

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

- Strong understanding of SDLC

Tools & Technologies :

- ServiceNow

- MS Visio / Lucidchart / Draw.io (process modeling)

- JIRA / Azure DevOps / similar ALM tools

- MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Nice to Have :

- Experience with ITSM or Enterprise Service Management platforms

- Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives

- Understanding of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems

- Prior experience in Agile delivery environments

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field
