We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the USA Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain and hands-on experience in Generative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and customer lifecycle management, while also contributing to AI-driven business transformation initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and deliver impactful digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Translate business requirements into comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.

- Analyze, document, and optimize business processes across the USA Property & Casualty Insurance lifecycle.

- Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions, and Agile ceremonies.

- Perform business process analysis, impact assessment, feasibility studies, gap analysis, and solution evaluation.

- Work closely with solution architects and development teams to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.

- Partner with QA teams to define test strategies, review test scenarios, validate business functionality, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Support system implementation, change management, user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and post-production stabilization.

- Ensure solutions comply with applicable USA P&C insurance business processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

- Collaborate on API integration initiatives, system modernization programs, and data migration activities.

- Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI for business process improvement, requirement analysis, documentation automation, and operational efficiency.

- Act as the functional bridge between business users and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Business Analysis :

- 6 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

- Minimum 6+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise applications.

- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, workflow analysis, and solution design.

- Hands-on experience preparing BRDs, FSDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

P&C Insurance Domain (Mandatory) :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in the USA Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.

5. Insurance Business Processes

- Experience working on insurance digital transformation, core system implementation, or process improvement initiatives.

Generative AI (Mandatory) :

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI initiatives.

- Experience identifying and documenting AI-driven business use cases.

- Exposure to AI-assisted requirement analysis, business process optimization, intelligent document processing, or workflow automation.

- Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, AI-powered business solutions, or enterprise AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude) is highly preferred.

Agile & Technology :

- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application architecture.

- Experience with insurance system implementations, API integrations, and data migration projects will be an added advantage.
