Business Analyst - Telemedicine Domain

Job Summary :

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs, streamline workflows, and enhance the digital healthcare experience for patients and providers.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, experience in healthcare IT or telehealth, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Good communication skills required as the candidate will demo the systems to customers and also provide trainings.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct gap analyses and assess current workflows to recommend optimizations for telehealth services.

- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams.

- Analyze, map, and optimize existing telemedicine workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and user satisfaction.

- Assist in designing new digital health solutions that align with regulatory, clinical, and technical standards.

- Support the creation of business process models, user journey maps, and use cases.

- Act as a liaison between business, product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure alignment of goals and project outcomes.

- Lead and facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and user interviews.

- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate testing activities with stakeholders.

- Conduct product/system demos for clients and gather feedback to guide future iterations.

- Provide training and onboarding support for internal users and external customers on telemedicine platforms.

- Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Use reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and performance reports.

- Track KPIs related to telemedicine usage, satisfaction, and system performance.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related field (MBA or Healthcare Informatics is a plus).

- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in healthcare, telemedicine, or digital health.

- Knowledge of telehealth platforms, EHR integration, and healthcare IT systems.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, Tableau, or Power BI).

- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7, CMS regulations).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
