Business Analyst (SAP BTP Specialist)

Role Overview :

The Business Analyst / Quality Analyst is a specialized, Full-time position at Crave Infotech requiring 4+ years of professional experience in a BA, QA, or hybrid role.

This role is Remote and demands strong functional knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) projects and capabilities.

The incumbent will serve as a crucial link between clients and the technical team, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the quality and successful delivery of BTP solutions.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Analyst (4+ years) with strong functional expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) modules to drive successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will leverage proven client-facing skills to understand complex business processes, translate requirements into precise functional specifications, and manage the full project lifecycle from design through quality assurance.

Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive test plans, managing documentation, ensuring robust data and application quality, and ideally possessing experience with SAP-specific integration projects.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering :

- Leverage Strong functional knowledge of SAP BTP modules and capabilities (e.g., Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Analytics Cloud) to advise clients on solution design.

- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with clients to understand complex business processes, pain points, and strategic requirements.

- Translate validated requirements into precise technical and functional documentation, including detailed functional specifications (FSDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure timely delivery and iterative feedback.

Quality Assurance and Test Management :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (unit, integration, UAT) for SAP BTP applications, extensions, and integrations.

- Utilize test management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar) to track defects, manage test progress, and ensure traceability of requirements.

- Validate data quality, performance, and security of BTP solutions before deployment.

Client Engagement and Project Support :

- Utilize Proven client-facing experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills to manage expectations and secure sign-offs on requirements and UAT.

- Support end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring alignment between client needs, technical development, and final quality delivery.

- Provide expert support on integration projects (preferred), verifying data flow and middleware configurations between SAP/non-SAP landscapes and the BTP environment.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, QA, or hybrid BA/QA role.

- Methodology : Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.

- Communication : Proven client-facing experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Tools : Experience with test management and documentation tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on Experience working on integration projects (e.g., using SAP Integration Suite/CPI).

- Familiarity with specific BTP services such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP Extension Suite.

- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Agile/Scrum.
