Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the life insurance domain and hands-on experience with CyberLife policy administration systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both technical and business teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value. This role requires strong analytical skills, insurance process expertise, and the ability to support UAT and data migration activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with development and business teams to validate that solutions meet business objectives and requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses, process mapping, and impact assessments for changes in the CyberLife system.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including use cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria for UAT.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordination with business testers, execution of test scripts, defect tracking, and resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies or structured project meetings, providing timely updates on requirements, risks, and testing readiness.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on life insurance processes, such as policy lifecycle, billing, claims, underwriting, and benefits.
- Support data validation, legacy data mapping, and policy migration activities as needed.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working directly with CyberLife.
- Deep understanding of life insurance products, policy administration systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with CyberLife workflows, segment structures, and business rules.
- Proficient in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data dictionaries.
- Skilled in preparing and executing UAT test cases; experienced in defect tracking and triage.
- Working knowledge of mainframe systems, including COBOL outputs, VSAM data, and JCL job dependencies from a business or testing perspective.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in Agile project environments.
- Familiarity with policy migration tools and methodologies.
- Prior experience in legacy system conversions involving CyberLife.
