Job Title: Business Analyst (Proficiency in Japanese)

Role Summary:

- Experienced Business Analyst with 812 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.

- Strong track record of working directly with Japanese clients and business stakeholders.

- Acts as a liaison between business users, operations teams, and technology teams to drive requirements gathering, process improvement, and transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements:

- 812 years of Business Analysis experience.

- Strong BFSI domain knowledge, preferably in Banking, Capital Markets, Securities, Settlements, Payments, Treasury, or Risk functions.

- Experience conducting workshops, requirements elicitation, process mapping, and stakeholder management.

- Proven experience supporting business transformation, automation, or operational improvement initiatives.

- Ability to analyse current-state processes and define future-state business requirements.

Japanese Language Skills:

- Proficiency in Japanese reading, writing, and speaking.

- Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with Japanese stakeholders.

- Capable of translating and reviewing business and functional documents in Japanese and English.

- JLPT N2/N1 certification preferred (not mandatory).

Client Engagement:

- Experience working with Japanese clients in a multicultural environment.

- Strong understanding of Japanese business etiquette and stakeholder management.

- Ability to bridge communication between Japanese business users and global delivery teams.

Preferred Experience:

- Securities Services, Settlements, SSI Management, or Capital Markets Operations.

- Process automation, workflow transformation, AI, or digital transformation programmes.

- Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
