Business Analyst - Agile/Waterfall Methodologies

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with expertise in Web Applications and Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business analysis processes, web-based applications, testing and quality assurance (QA) methodologies. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.

- Gather, analyse, document business requirements and test for web applications.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into functional specifications.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are met and properly tested.

- Define and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web applications.

- Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify and document defects, working with developers to resolve issues.

- Assist in system integration testing and ensure proper deployment of web applications.

- Analyse user feedback and suggest improvements for better user experience (UX).

- Create process flows, wireframes, and use case diagrams as needed.

- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards in web applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 4 to 8 / 10 years as a Business Analyst in web application projects.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Hands-on experience in software testing, including functional and UAT testing.

- Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and APIs.

- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Selenium (preferred), or other testing frameworks.

- Excellent documentation and communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
