Role : Business Analyst

Role Overview :

The Business Analyst will be responsible for leading requirements engineering activities for large-scale LIS and e-Governance projects. The role involves translating business needs into structured system requirements while ensuring alignment with international standards and stakeholder expectations.

Educational Qualification :

- Masters degree, MBA, or Engineering in IT, GIS, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs :

- Lead requirements engineering activities for LIS and e-Governance programs.

- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.

- Prepare and deliver StRS, SyRS, and SRS documents aligned with ISO 29148 standards.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.

- Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix and Validation Traceability Matrix.

- Create and validate process flows using UML and BPMN standards.

- Ensure requirement completeness, consistency, and traceability across project lifecycle.

- Support solution design reviews, UAT planning, and requirement validation.

- Manage requirement changes and ensure impact analysis is documented.

- Ensure documentation quality and compliance with project and governance standards.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in IT, GIS, or LIS-based projects.

- Hands-on experience in requirements engineering for e-Governance initiatives.

- Proven experience in delivering at least three projects with ISO 29148-aligned StRS, SyRS, and SRS.

- Strong proficiency in UML and BPMN modeling techniques.

- Experience in preparing and maintaining RTM and VTM.

- Ability to translate complex business processes into clear system requirements.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience working in structured and compliance-driven project environments.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Certification :

- CBAP Certification.
