Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

- Work closely with data engineering teams on ETL pipelines, data integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure data quality and accessibility.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Create compelling dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present key insights to business users.

- Support data warehousing initiatives, leveraging your knowledge of concepts and tools like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.

- Participate in the entire data lifecycle, from data collection and processing to analysis and reporting.

- Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-related projects.

- Hands-on experience with Data Engineering processes, such as ETL pipelines, data integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex datasets.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of presenting technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Data Engineering tools.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.

- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
