Brainvault Technologies - Lead PHP Engineer - MVC Frameworks

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in modern PHP development and MVC frameworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on complex legacy codebases, such as ERP systems, and collaborating with international clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP applications using PHP 8.x and MVC-based frameworks such as Laminas (Zend), Laravel, or Symfony.

- Work on a complex legacy codebase consisting of 50+ modules, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the code.

- Make informed programming decisions to improve code quality and system performance.

- Collaborate effectively with clients and team members across US, Europe, and Australia, managing both verbal and written communications.

- Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular (version 8 or higher).

Qualifications & Skills :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with PHP, updated to version 8.x.

- Strong expertise in MVC frameworks, especially Laminas (Zend), Laravel, or Symfony.

- Proven experience working with complex legacy systems, ideally ERP software.

- Solid understanding of code quality principles and best programming practices.

- Experience writing unit tests.

- Excellent English communication skillsboth verbal and written.

- Comfortable working directly with clients and teams from US, Europe, and Australia.

- At least 2 years of experience with Angular (v8+).
