Role Description :

- Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) at Bottomline are responsible for building and operating critical internal and external services.

- Our SREs use their skills as software engineers and their knowledge of infrastructure to further develop our reliability practice in order to keep these services running smoothly.

- They do this with the ultimate goal of delivering a great customer experience through services that are observable, scalable and highly available.

- In this role you will be learning complex systems, specifically how they behave and fail in production.

- If you are inclined to drive those failure modes out of our systems then you might be a good fit for the team.

- This important work not only drives growth for Bottomline but is also critical for the growth of Bottomline's customers. and implement solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of our systems.

- You're adept in a Command Line Interface (CLI) setting.

Your responsibilities as an SRE at Bottomline include :

- Augmenting the observability of our diverse applications and infrastructure, utilizing :

1. Open Telemetry.

2. Grafana suite (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo).

3. Fluentd.

- Streamlining our applications and infrastructure through :

1. Terraform.

2. Kubernetes.

3. Puppet.

- Orchestrating CI/CD workflows for these services via :

1. Gitlab CI/CD Hands on.

2. ArgoCD.

3. Kustomize.

- Collaborating with Product teams to encapsulate the user journey in SLOs.

- Mitigating service disruption repercussions through our dedicated incident, problem, and change management initiatives.

years of experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.

3 + years of experience in infrastructure automation with Terraform.

Strong experience with scripting: Shell script, Python, Ruby, or similar in.
