1 Role: Techncial Consultant - Sage

2 Required Technical Skill Set: Sage 500

3 No of Requirements: 1

4 Desired Experience Range: 3-5 years

5 Location of Requirement: TCS Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have :

1. Should have 3+ years of experience in Sage 500 ERP (MAS 500)

2. Worked on Sage 500 enhancement, customizations, deployment and trouble shooting

3. Experience in configuration of application basis on Technical Design Document.

4. Strong experience with L2/L3 support process (ITIL)

5. Understanding of Sage 500 framework, architecture, and core modules

6. Person should have experience of working in project related to Supply Chain and Inventory, Procurement Process P2P, Sales Process O2C, Finance Process R2R, etc.

Good-to-Have :

1. Programming experience in VB6, .NET (C#), SQL Server

2. Expertise in:

a. Database design, stored procedures, performance tuning

b. Integration tools (SSIS, APIs, ETL tools)

c. Crystal Reports / Sage Intelligence

3. Writing SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers

4. Person has worked in Application implementation / support on above skills where interfaces with third part application was involved.

5. Person has worked on ERP support project as Technical Consultant (Any contemporary ERP application)

6. Experience in Sage 500 upgrades and version migrations

7. Experience with workflow tools (KnowledgeSync / Alerts & Workflow)

8. Familiarity with third-party add-ons (Avalara, Scanco, etc.)

9. Certification in Sage 500 sERP

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Will be involved in break fixes, new developments or change requests & configure application web services for interfaces.

2 Experience in working on project like ERP roll- out, version Upgrade, Implementations, support

3 Testing of the Customization, Coordinating with Business during User Acceptance Testing

4 Ability to independently with little guidance and inputs

5 Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills

6 Coordination with Project Manager, Delivery Manager for reporting weekly status.

7 Excellent Written & spoken skills - English.
