- Research, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Design delightful micro interactions that enhance the overall user experience and create memorable moments.
- Sharpening the design solution by sharing ideas early for feedback, being open to testing and making iterations.
- Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
- Actively participate in maintaining and evolving the Design System.
- Document the process.
- Rinse and repeat.
Requirements :
- Relevant years of product design experience in product companies with a focus on B2C applications.
- Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing products.
- Demonstrable understanding and expertise in designing micro interactions that enhance user delight and engagement.
- A process-driven approach to creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or other visual design tools.
- Motion design will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping with attention to subtle animations and transitions.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining design systems through Figma Libraries, Components and Variables.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
