BMC Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize BMC firmware for server platforms using the OpenBMC stack.

- Implement and support side-band and out-of-band server management functionalities.

- Perform debugging, testing, and validation of BMC firmware for stability and reliability.

- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of BMC functionalities.

- Maintain and manage version control using Git/Gerrit.

- Stay updated with emerging trends in BMC technologies and server management protocols.

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.

Technical Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- Server Management : Side-band / Out-of-band protocols

- Programming & Debugging : Strong C programming skills

- Version Control : Git, Gerrit

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of IPMI, Redfish, or other server management protocols

- Experience with hardware-software integration in server platforms
