This role requires deep expertise in Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Bluetooth Audio, embedded RTOS platforms, audio streaming architectures, and system-level debugging.


The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical skills with proven leadership capabilities to guide a team of firmware engineers delivering high-quality Bluetooth audio solutions.

The successful candidate will own firmware architecture decisions, lead complex technical problem-solving efforts, mentor engineers, support customer engagements, and ensure successful delivery of robust, production-ready firmware solutions.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

1. Strong programming expertise in C and C++ for embedded systems.

2. Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.

3. Deep understanding of Bluetooth Classic, BLE, Bluetooth Audio, GAP, GATT, Pairing, Bonding, Security Mechanisms, Bluetooth Profiles, and Services.

4. Hands-on experience with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, BLE Audio, TWS, Multipoint Connectivity, Role Switching, and Fast Pair technologies.

5. Strong knowledge of Bluetooth Host/Controller Architecture, HCI Layer, Protocol Stack Integration, and Sniffer-Based Debugging.

6. Solid understanding of RTOS concepts including tasks, scheduling, queues, interrupts, timers, and synchronization.

7. Experience debugging firmware, connectivity, memory, performance, and power-related issues.

8. Good understanding of audio systems, codecs, latency management, buffering, synchronization, and DSP fundamentals.

Tools & Processes :

1. Experience with Git, SVN, Perforce, Jira, Bugzilla, or similar development tools.

2. Familiarity with software development lifecycle, defect management, and release processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Experience with Tensilica HiFi, Kalimba, or similar audio DSP architectures.

2. Knowledge of Bluetooth/Wi-Fi coexistence mechanisms.

3. Experience with USB, SDIO, and wireless connectivity integrations.

4. Exposure to Qualcomm, MediaTek/Airoha, Synaptics, Realtek, BES, or similar Bluetooth audio platforms.

5. Experience with LE Audio, Auracast, LC3 Codec, ANC/ENC Technologies, Low-Latency Audio Solutions, and Voice Assistant Integrations.

6. Hands-on experience supporting Bluetooth SIG qualification and certification programs.

7. Background in consumer audio products such as earbuds, headsets, speakers, wearables, or automotive infotainment systems.

8. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release governance.
