We are looking for a Cloud & DevOps Lead to architect, optimize, and scale enterprise-grade solutions while leading a small engineering team. If you are obsessed with cloud efficiency, automation, cost-saving innovations, and reliability, this is your role.

Role Overview :

As the Cloud & DevOps Lead, you will own and evolve the entire cloud + DevOps ecosystem.

You will :

- Lead a team of DevOps/Cloud/SRE engineers

- Review, test, proofread, and approve the work of other engineers

- Build internal cost- and time-saving automation across DevOps & cloud

- Implement policies, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and auto-remediation tools

- Build environments that are resilient, secure, and optimized for performance

- Drive DevSecOps best practices and cloud governance

- This is a senior, decision-making, hands-on + leadership hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, mentor, and guide DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineers

- Oversee sprint deliverables and conduct technical review of all deployments

- Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices

- Architect and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and Azure)

- Own infrastructure for voice messaging, APIs, and backend systems

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant deployments

- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, caching, and zero-downtime releases

- Design cloud cost-saving/FinOps workflows (instance rightsizing, storage optimization)

- Build automation scripts (idle-instance killer, expense guards, auto-shutdown policies)

- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce pipeline duration and infra waste

- Implement internal tools to increase engineering productivity

- Implement IaC (Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation)

- Automate cluster provisioning (EKS/GKE/Kubernetes)

- Manage observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog)

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud + DevOps roles

- Strong experience in AWS (preferred), plus GCP/Azure familiarity

- Deep expertise in cost optimization and cloud automation

- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices

- Expertise in Terraform / Pulumi (IaC)

- Strong experience in CI/CD design (GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins)

- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and alerting best practices

- Experience in networking, security, and IAM

- Proven experience leading engineers or overseeing DevOps teams

- Strong communication, documentation, and technical review skills

Bonus Experience (Nice-to-Have) :

- Experience with voice streaming, WebRTC, RTMP, or real-time messaging infra

- Experience building internal cost/time saving DevOps tools

- Experience in early-stage startup environments
