Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise business process management applications using the Appian low-code platform. The role involves building user interfaces, developing workflows, implementing integrations, and optimizing application performance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Appian development, workflow automation, and enterprise system integration.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using the Appian platform.

- Build responsive user interfaces using SAIL, Interface Designer, and reusable interface components.

- Develop and configure process models, workflows, expression rules, business rules, and constants.

- Create and maintain records, record types, reports, and data-driven interfaces.

- Develop and manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and connected systems.

- Configure Appian data stores and data management components, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Implement application security through appropriate groups, roles, and access controls.

- Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance.

- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Follow Appian development best practices, application lifecycle management, and security standards.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements :

- 5 - 8 years of overall experience, with substantial hands-on experience in Appian application development.

- Strong proficiency in SAIL, Interface Designer, expression rules, and reusable components.

- Experience developing Appian process models, workflows, and business rules.

- Hands-on experience with records, record types, reports, data stores, and connected systems.

- Experience building REST/SOAP integrations and connecting Appian with enterprise applications.

- Understanding of Appian security, groups, roles, and access control mechanisms.

- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.

- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, testing, performance optimization, and production support.

- Understanding of application deployment, version management, and Appian application lifecycle management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
