Blockchain Engineer - Web3.js/DeFi Protocols

Description :

This includes working on smart contracts, backend infrastructure, and integrations that power our trading systems, staking mechanisms, and overall protocol functionality.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Web3 development, particularly within EVM-compatible environments, and be comfortable working with complex, data-driven systems while maintaining high standards for security, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain backend services that interact with blockchain networks.

- Integrate smart contracts with frontend applications and APIs.

- Optimize gas usage, performance, and contract efficiency.

- Ensure security best practices across smart contracts and system architecture.

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product teams, and designers.

Technical Requirements :

- Strong experience with Solidity and smart contract development.

- Deep understanding of EVM architecture and blockchain fundamentals.

- Experience with tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.

- Familiarity with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js).

- Experience with DeFi protocols, trading systems, or staking mechanisms.

- Understanding of security practices and common vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow, etc.).

Nice to Have :

- Experience working on DeFi platforms, crypto exchanges, or EVM-based ecosystems.

- Familiarity with Layer 2 solutions and cross-chain integrations.

- Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Python).

- Experience with auditing or reviewing smart contracts.

- Understanding of frontend integration (React, TypeScript) is a plus.
