Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Snowflake Engineer with strong expertise in SQL to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud, delivering high-performance data pipelines, and supporting business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business stakeholders to build scalable and efficient data solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and SQL.

- Build and maintain data models, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics.

- Perform data integration from various sources (structured and unstructured data).

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Monitor data pipelines for performance and troubleshoot data issues.

- Implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, security, and performance optimization.

- Assist in automating data workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar.

- Work with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to enable data visualization and reporting.

- Document technical designs and processes.

Qualifications :

- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SQL development for data warehousing and analytics.

- Strong experience working with Snowflake Data Cloud, including schema design, performance optimization, and security configurations.

- Experience in developing and managing ETL/ELT processes.

- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.

- Good understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Fivetran, Matillion, or custom solutions).

- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
