We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented API Quality Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness, scalability, and performance of backend services and APIs that power our games and platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers teams to identify issues early and uphold the highest standards of software quality.

Position : API Quality Engineer

Location : Noida Sector 9

Qualification : B.Tech/ MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc or relevant professional experience; preferably in Computer Science.

Experience - 0-2 years of experience in relevant field

Required Skills :

- 2+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on API testing.

- Proficient in tools like Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, and JMeter.

- Hands-on experience in writing test scripts using Java/JavaScript.

- Familiar with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

- Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Familiarity with tools like Charles Proxy or Wireshark for debugging.

- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT), and status codes.

- Experience in gaming backend systems is a plus.

Job Summary :

- Closely work with Game Engineers and Product Managers to understand the changes getting rolled out; creating and executing test plans and test cases; being the overall owner for the testing and releasing of that feature to the game.

- Work side-by-side with development / product teams to ensure the game is achieving planned milestones

- Test case creation from design documentation or feature expertise

- Test the functionality and usability of iOS and Android games throughout various development phases

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

- Perform manual and automated API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, JMeter, or REST Assured.

- Validate API requests/responses, error handling, rate limiting, and authentication.

- Collaborate with backend developers to understand system architecture and provide feedback on testability.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate API tests and ensure continuous delivery.

- Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution.

- Monitor API performance, reliability, and load using performance testing tools.

- Participate in code reviews and advocate for best testing practices.
