Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.

- Develop and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze results.

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform API testing, regression testing, and smoke testing.

- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for testability.

- Ensure test coverage for functional, integration, and regression scenarios.

- Continuously improve test processes and automation efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.

- Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience testing microservices architectures.

- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
