Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Agile-based software development team working on a MEAN stack-based platform. In this role, you will oversee the SDLC, manage and improve legacy systems, while also driving the modernization of platforms toward a next-gen SaaS architecture in fastest and safest way., help the team with solving/debugging, and ensure successful delivery of our platform while managing critical stakeholders, including close collaboration with founders. The candidate should have extensive experience in multiple technologies and a strong understanding of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.

- Architect and oversee delivery of microservices-based systems.

- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and scalability.

- Conduct or guide code reviews; foster best practices.

- Drive legacy system maintenance, modernization, and ensure safe evolution toward SaaS architecture.

- Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with CTO and founders, to align on priorities.

- Own engineering processes (CI/CD, QA, performance monitoring) and optimize team delivery flows.

- Handle people management: hiring, performance evaluations, nurturing career growth.

Mandatory Qualifications :

- B.E., B.Tech.,/ MCA only.

- 60% & above in entire academics, including highest qualification.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership in Agile-based software development and 3 years of customer handling.

- Strong technical background in multiple technologies; preferred tech stack can be either MEAN or MERN; should have hands-on experience as well in some technologies.

- Proven track record of leading Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.

- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices, with experience in planning, executing, risk management, and delivering customer implementations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in the FinTech industry is a plus.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
