Lead with Impact :

- Be the technical leader for India-based engineering team, mentoring and guiding 3 cloud/devops engineers.

- Set technical direction, define standards, and ensure high-quality delivery across projects.

- Serve as the go-to escalation point for complex architecture and platform challenges

Build Modern Cloud & AI Platforms :

- Design and implement AWS-based platforms that support AI workloads, data pipelines, and intelligent applications.

- Help bring AI from experimentation into production - supporting model hosting, inference, and AI-integrated services.

- Leverage AI-assisted tooling to improve engineering velocity and operational excellence.

Stay Hands-On :

- Remain hands-on with AWS services, AI services, systems/networks/database management, and DevOps/IaC automation.

- Guide implementation of cloud environments, platform services, and operational tooling.

- Balance leadership with real engineering work - youll still be building, not just reviewing.

Partner Closely with Clients & Leadership :

- Participate in architecture discussions, stand-up calls, and technical reviews with clients.

- Translate business needs into scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions.

- Influence architecture decisions across multiple customer environments.

Strong Cloud Foundations :

- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and modern cloud services. AWS Pro-Level Certification is a requiement.

- Strong build & deploy automation experience, e.g. with Terraform, Ansible, etc.

- Solid Linux, networks, security, and DevOps experience.

- Experience with cost optimization, observability, and governance tooling.

- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python preferred).

AI-Forward Mindset :

- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in cloud environments.

- Deep knowledge of LLMs, GenAI platforms, and modern AI architectures.

- Comfort working with evolving technologies - not everything is solved yet.

Leadership DNA :

- Consulting or managed services background.

- Experience leading or mentoring engineers.

- Clear communicator who enjoys teaching and learning.

Other Nice-To-Have Skills :

- Experience handling migrations of on-prem infrastructures to cloud-based architectures

- Experience with serverless and micro-services architectures Lambda, ECS

- Knowledge of popular open-source tools & technologies

- Databases - SQL, NoSQL, and any others in between

- Traditional systems and networks administration

- Holistic knowledge of implementing systems, network & cloud security

- Performance tuning and trouble-shooting skills

- Proven client / vendor interaction skills

- Ability to work independently or in small teams with minimal supervision
