BigCommerce Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Full-Stack Development : Contribute across the stack, including front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js) for rich user interfaces and back-end development using Node.js for custom functionalities and integrations.

- API Integration : Proficiently integrate BigCommerce with various third-party services and systems using API integration (RESTful APIs).

- User Experience (UX) : Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces, focusing on optimizing the user experience design.

- Code Quality & Version Control : Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.

- Agile Methodologies : Work effectively within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.

- Troubleshooting & Optimization : Debug and resolve technical issues, and continuously optimize BigCommerce stores for performance and scalability.

- Communication & Collaboration : Maintain strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.

- Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.

- Demonstrated experience with BigCommerce development and its Stencil framework.

- Hands-on experience with API integration with BigCommerce and other third-party services.

- Familiarity with user experience design principles.

- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience working with Agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
