Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Specialist Project Manager (AI & BI) to lead the design, development, and delivery of data-driven and AI-enabled business intelligence solutions. The role combines technical leadership in Big Data, Cloud, and AI/ML with project management responsibilities, ensuring successful execution of complex analytics and BI initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Databricks, data engineering, AI/ML, and data visualization tools along with strong stakeholder management and delivery ownership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Architect, design, and oversee end-to-end big data and analytics solutions using AWS and Databricks

- Lead development of scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data lakes

- Drive adoption of AI/ML-driven analytics and insights within BI platforms

- Ensure best practices in data modeling, performance optimization, and data governance

- Oversee integration of structured and unstructured data sources

AI & Advanced Analytics :

- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy AI/ML models for predictive, descriptive, and prescriptive analytics

- Support use cases involving machine learning, AI-driven insights, and automation

- Translate business requirements into AI/analytics solutions

BI & Data Visualization :

- Lead development of dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau

- Ensure data accuracy, usability, and storytelling through effective visualization

- Enable self-service BI and advanced analytics for business users

Project & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as Project Manager for AI & BI initiatives, owning scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables

- Coordinate across cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, business stakeholders)

- Communicate project progress, dependencies, and outcomes to senior leadership

- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives

Governance & Best Practices :

- Establish standards for data quality, security, and compliance

- Mentor and guide engineering and analytics teams

- Drive continuous improvement in data platforms and analytics maturity

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory :

- 8+ years of experience in Engineering, with a strong focus on data and analytics

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including data and analytics services

- 5+ years of experience with Databricks products (Databricks Lakehouse, Spark, Delta Lake)

- 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML technologies

- Strong experience with Python for data processing, analytics, and automation

- Expertise in data engineering, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing

- Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience managing end-to-end analytics or AI transformation projects

- Knowledge of data science workflows and MLOps concepts

- Experience working with cloud-native data architectures

- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance

- Agile / Scrum project management experience
