Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Haridwar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle databases (12c & 19c) in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Oracle Databases (12c & 19c) including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

- Perform database administration and support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.

- Handle batch management, patch management, and disk space administration.

- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, DataPump, and other Oracle export/import utilities.

- Monitor database health, including tablespaces, alert logs, and resource usage.

- Manage RAC and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Create and manage database users, roles, and privileges.

- Work on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - provisioning compute instances (WebLogic), DBCS (Oracle 19c+), WAF, and Load Balancer setup.

- Support Apex installation and upgrades with ORDS.

- Basic understanding or experience in PostgreSQL will be an added advantage.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of Oracle Database Architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.

- Proficiency with RMAN, DataPump, RAC, and Data Guard.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) components such as Compute, DBCS, and Load Balancer.

- Knowledge of Apex/ORDS setup and maintenance.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to PostgreSQL database administration.

- Experience in database performance tuning and security management.
