We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer with proven experience in software documentation to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in creating high-quality technical documentation for enterprise-level software, APIs, and developer tools.

You will work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to deliver precise, user-friendly, and scalable documentation that empowers both technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Documentation : Design, develop, and maintain user manuals, developer guides, installation/configuration instructions, API documentation, release notes, and online help systems.

- Cross-Team Collaboration : Partner with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and UX designers to gather technical insights and convert them into structured, high-quality documentation.

- Content Simplification : Translate complex technical concepts, workflows, and system architecture into concise, intuitive, and accessible content for diverse user audiences.

- Tool Utilization : Create and manage documentation using industry-standard authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, FrameMaker, Confluence, or equivalent.

- Versioning & Publishing : Leverage version control systems (Git, SVN) to maintain documentation integrity in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Standards & Governance : Establish and enforce style guides, content standards, and best practices to ensure documentation consistency, reusability, and scalability.

- Knowledge Management : Contribute to internal knowledge bases, FAQs, and developer portals to support customer success and reduce support load.

- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance documentation efficiency through automation, structured authoring, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills :

- 6 - 12 years of hands-on experience in technical writing, preferably within software product or SaaS environments.

- Strong command of English with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Proficiency with documentation authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Adobe FrameMaker, or Oxygen XML Author.

- Familiarity with API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman, Redoc, or similar).

- Experience working in Agile development environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.

- Ability to read and interpret source code snippets (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar) for accurate developer-facing documentation.

- Strong understanding of information architecture, structured authoring, and content reusability principles.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated documentation delivery.

- Experience in creating multimedia content such as tutorials, how-to videos, or interactive documentation.

- Knowledge of DITA, Markdown, or reStructuredText for structured documentation.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS product documentation
