Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong platform knowledge, experience in process automation using Flow Designer, and expertise in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems.

This role requires a high level of technical proficiency in ServiceNow development frameworks, adherence to coding best practices, and a deep understanding of ITSM modules.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Platform Development & Configuration :

- Design, develop, and configure custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.

- Implement and maintain core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.

- Develop and customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

- Create and manage Catalog Items, Record Producers, and Workflows to support service automation.

2. Flow Designer & Automation :

- Build process automations using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

- Develop and maintain custom flows, subflows, and reusable actions to streamline IT operations.

- Automate repetitive manual tasks and integrate with external systems through web services.

3. Integrations & API Development :

- Implement integrations with third-party tools using REST, SOAP, and OAUTH authentication.

- Design and maintain inbound and outbound integrations ensuring data integrity and scalability.

- Work closely with enterprise application teams to develop and support real-time data exchange.

4. CMDB, Discovery & Asset Management :

- Configure and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data accuracy.

- Support Discovery implementations and SCCM integrations for automated asset discovery.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to align CMDB with organizational needs.

5. Testing, Debugging & Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute test cases using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.

6. Agile Delivery & Documentation :

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Document technical designs, configurations, and release notes for internal and external stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of ServiceNow development practices and governance.

Technical Skills Required :

- Others : Basic understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Cloud concepts (Azure/AWS preferred)

Qualifications :

- 2- 4 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and APIs.

- Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy custom applications and modules.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and UI scripting.

- Experience in Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Catalog Item development.

- Exposure to ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems.

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
