Job Summary :

BetaNXT is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate - Technology Infrastructure with the title of Network Engineer to join our dynamic Technology Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of our critical network infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background in diverse networking hardware and security practices to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and protection of our systems.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our network systems, including :

Network Maintenance & Operation :

- Maintain, monitor, and manage enterprise networks, including Routers (Cisco), Switches (Cisco and Arista), and other physical networking hardware.

- Perform regular configuration backups, software/firmware upgrades, and preventative maintenance to ensure high availability and performance.

Security Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and configure a diverse range of Firewall platforms, including Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and Palo Alto.

- Administer and troubleshoot Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) using technologies such as Cisco and Fortigate to ensure secure remote connectivity.

- Implement and enforce security policies across all network devices.

Installation & Configuration :

- Plan, install, and configure new network equipment and infrastructure components in alignment with best practices and architectural standards.

- Document network configurations, procedures, and topographical maps.

Troubleshooting & Resolution :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and business impact.

- Participate in on-call rotation as required to support 24x7 operations.

Communication & Reporting :

- Clearly communicate the status, impact, and resolution of networking issues to management, internal stakeholders, and other employees.

- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on network performance and security posture.

- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience :

- Hands-on experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.

Technical Proficiency :

Demonstrated expertise in the following :

- Cisco routing and switching (configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting). Arista switching technology.

- Extensive experience with multiple firewall platforms (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and Palo Alto).

- Implementing and managing various VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access).

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network monitoring tools.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certifications (Preferred) : Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
