Job Overview :
Bert Labs, an international award-winning and rapidly growing AI Innovation Company, is seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior/Lead Research Engineer - Full Stack (Frontend & Backend).
You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge cloud applications based on a microservices architecture.
This role demands extensive experience across the full application lifecycle, a passion for innovation, and the ability to contribute to a robust machine learning platform and end-to-end IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Full Stack Development & Architecture :

- Design and execute the development efforts for both the client-side (frontend) and server-side (backend) of our microservices architecture-based cloud applications.

- Integrate user-facing elements with robust server-side logic, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.

Application Lifecycle Management :

- Actively participate in the entire application lifecycle, with a strong focus on both

development and rigorous testing.

- Take ownership of projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, solutioning, designing architecture, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build a robust machine learning platform.

- Work with Software Backend Engineers to provide a seamless user experience for complex, high-traffic applications.

- Partner with Embedded Firmware Engineers to build a robust end-to-end IoT solution, connecting hardware with cloud capabilities.

Innovation & Leadership :

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively identify opportunities for their adoption within the Bert Platform Solution.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

- Engineering degree from IITs/BITS/NITs/Jadavpur University/DTU/Top Engineering Institutes in USA, Europe, UK/NUS.

Experience :

- Proven relevant work experience of 5 - 10 years as a Software Developer in a Product, Platform, Deep Tech, AI, IoT, Semiconductor, or Embedded Systems company.

Project Management :

- Demonstrated experience in managing projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, solutioning and designing architecture, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems.

Technical Proficiency :

- Excellent data structure & algorithm and problem-solving skills.

- Strong hands-on experience in Angular and preferably Next.js.

- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

- Good understanding of any OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) based programming

language.

- Proven experience in understanding complex user needs and providing practical, production-

ready solutions.

Communication & Leadership :

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

- Experience in Mobile App Development.
