About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Selenium Automation Tester with 3-5 years of experience in designing and maintaining automated test frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automation, regression testing, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).

- Analyze user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to create test plans and test cases.

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / Bugzilla.

- Automate regression, smoke, and functional test cases.

- Execute test scripts and validate application functionality across browsers.

- Develop and integrate automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Maintain test documentation and generate execution reports.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong programming/scripting skills in Java (preferred), Python, or C#.

- Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Page Object Model (POM).

- Good understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Experience with version control tools : Git / Bitbucket / GitHub.

- Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman / RestAssured is a plus.

- Familiarity with continuous integration tools : Jenkins / GitLab CI.

- Experience testing responsive UI, cross-browser compatibility, and web applications.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Cucumber / BDD frameworks.

- Exposure to Selenium Grid, Docker, and parallel execution.

- Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.

- Understanding of SQL for backend validation.
