About The Team :

Join BazaarvoiceOur real time API's are built for high scalability, supporting both API and display needs for over 12,500 brands and retailers.

Whether it's real-time or bulk processing, the challenges are complexand if you're excited to be part of this journey and help work with a team of 20+ engineers, this is the team for you.

How Youll Make An Impact :

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers and other Software Engineers to deliver new functionality and.

iterative improvements to member-facing products and internal tools.

- Architect and scale new display applications for collecting and displaying various forms of consumer-generated content at a massive scale.

- Build efficient, scalable and reusable services and APIs using Java.

- Write and review technical design documents for new applications and features.

- Participate in code reviews with other engineers.

- Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues.

- Profile and improve large-scale database access patterns.

- Focus on application performance and monitoring.

- Participate in the on-call engineering rotation.

The Must Have Skills That Matter :

- 8+ years experience in full stack software engineering role.

- Demonstrated experience building high scaling frontend services with API integration.

- Detailed knowledge and working experience on modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React,.Web Components.

- Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills, Experience with microservice-oriented architectures.

- Experience with Java, Node.js, Express, or Nuxt.js.
