Role Overview :

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer (SDE I) with a strong foundation in AWS, CI/CD, containerization, and automation to join our high-performance technology team. You will contribute to designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS) :

- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, VPC, RDS, and S3.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and repeatable deployments.

- Monitor performance and implement cost optimization strategies (e.g. , Spot Instances).

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Build and manage Docker images and containers.

- Deploy, scale, and monitor applications on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

- Use Helm Charts for packaging and deployment consistency.

CI/CD Pipeline Automation :

- Set up and manage Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.

- Improve deployment efficiency and reliability through continuous integration and delivery practices.

Monitoring, Logging & Security :

- Implement observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for proactive monitoring.

- Set up centralized logging and alerting systems.

- Ensure best practices in IAM policies, network security, and compliance.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with Developers, QA, and Product teams for seamless deployment and delivery.

- Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, processes, and standards.

Qualifications & Skills :

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.

- Practical experience with Terraform for IaC.

- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Good understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools.

- Scripting experience in Bash or Python for automation tasks.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with Kafka or other event-driven systems.

- Experience of Helm for Kubernetes deployment management.

- Knowledge of AWS cost optimization practices (Spot Instances, Auto Scaling
