BASE24 Classic Developer - CICS/COBOL

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Base24 Classic Developer to join our payments and transaction processing team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the Base24 Classic payment switch application, ensuring seamless transaction processing for our financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and resolve issues related to transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation.

- Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.

- Perform application testing including unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.

- Support Base24 Classic upgrades, patches, and system migrations.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to Base24 Classic systems.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, transaction life cycle, and settlement processes.

- Experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and Mainframe environments.

- Familiarity with batch processing, online transaction processing, and system interfaces.

- Good understanding of ISO 8583 messaging standards and payment card industry protocols.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
