Job Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned Java Production Support Engineer with a strong SRE mindset to support and stabilize complex, cloud-native production environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based microservices, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes, along with strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems. This role requires hands-on production support experience and the ability to work in shift-based rosters.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based, cloud-native applications.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issues in production environments.

- Support applications deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes clusters.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement permanent fixes.

- Work with monitoring and observability tools to ensure system stability and performance.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve system reliability.

- Handle incident management, problem management, and change management activities.

- Automate repetitive operational tasks using CI/CD pipelines and scripting.

- Support complex application ecosystems involving multiple integrations and dependencies.

- Participate in on-call rotations and shift-based support as per roster.

- Document operational procedures, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Primary (Mandatory) :

- 8+ years of experience in Java Production Support / Application Support roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices.

- Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Solid experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.

Secondary (Mandatory) :

- Good experience with JavaScript and SQL / PL-SQL.

- Experience with databases such as MariaDB and replication tools like GoldenGate.

- Hands-on experience with log monitoring and APM tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK Stack, Prometheus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD.

- Strong understanding of production monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

- Proven SRE mindset with focus on reliability, automation, and scalability.
