ROLE OVERVIEW :

Were seeking a results-driven and experienced Data Engineer to contribute to the data foundation. In this role you will work across multiple data sources, build automated pipelines, design scalable data models, and enable advanced analytics and ML-driven applications. You will have full ownership of your workstream with the creative freedom to propose and implement solutions.

Youll also receive weekly feedback to help you grow quickly and understand what it takes to move to the next level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Set up daily data syncs from multiple sources (product DB, APIs, web analytics tools, Google Sheets, CRM systems, SaaS tools, etc.).

- Build automated ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.

- Standardize & clean data for reporting, diagnostics, and ML use cases.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (via Slack/webhooks/job-tracker).

- Design and refactor database schemas; implement Medallion architecture.

- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL, BigQuery, NoSQL & S3 data environments.

- Set up the visualization layer (e.g., Metabase, Superset, Power BI).

- Work independently on end-to-end data workflows.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering role.

- Strong know-how of Python (Pandas, ETL scripting, API integration), writing cron jobs on Linux, and deploying scripts on cloud/VPS.

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with PostgreSQL, BQ, NoSQL, S3, etc.

- Ability to read and understand API documentation and setup webhooks.

- Solid understanding of data pipelines, DB design, and analytics engineering.

- Experience working independently on end-to-end data projects.
