Barco - API Integration Developer - MuleSoft

Description :

- As our API Integration Developer, you are a key contributor within Barcos API Software Development Lifecycle.

- You implement our integration business requirements into state-of-the-art APIs and/or integrations.

- Together with our highly motivated team, you turn integration challenges into valuable API/integration solutions.

- We use the Anypoint Platform from MuleSoft to build, deploy, secure, and expose all our APIs.

- If youre not yet familiar with MuleSoft, thats okay - we value attitude, adaptability, and ability over specific tool experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- You develop API integrations for new solutions, based on business requirements and user feedback.

- You create API Specifications that serve as API contracts for development.

- You develop new API features and/or functionality, based on specifications provided by internal/external stakeholders.

- You test APIs after development to ensure they function as intended.

- You document software development processes and procedures for future projects.

- You practice and advocate API-Led Connectivity.

- You create and manage basic CI/CD Pipelines (Maven, GitHub Actions, etc.

- You collaborate cross-functionally and take initiative in identifying integration opportunities.

Qualifications :

- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent work field experience and technical maturity.

- Youre familiar with common data formats (XML, JSON), protocols (HTTP(S), (S)FTP), Web services / APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC), and authentication (OAuth).

- Knowlegde on API Specifications (RAML and/or OAS).

- You can support clients with technical issues and verify their integration against original designs.

- You understand system development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.

- Youre fluent in English and thrive in an international environment.

- Experience as a full stack developer is considered a plus.
