We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineering Manager with 7- 8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems. This role blends strong technical expertise with team leadership, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend engineers

- Drive architecture, design, and scalability of backend systems

- Ensure high-quality code through reviews and best practices

- Own end-to-end backend development (design to deployment & monitoring)

- Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD, infrastructure, and system reliability

- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency

- Work closely with product, frontend, and QA teams for timely delivery

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)

- Hands-on with PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS

- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture

- Strong understanding of scalable, event-driven systems

Experience & Qualification :

- 7- 8 years of backend engineering experience

- 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Industry : F&B / E-Commerce
