Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in server-side development, distributed systems, database management, and cloud-based architectures.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to build reliable and scalable products that support business growth and user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

- Build robust microservices and distributed systems with high availability and performance.

- Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers for seamless integration and deployment.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient production-quality code.

- Implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes with minimal downtime.

- Ensure security, monitoring, logging, and observability best practices are followed.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.

- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as :

1. Node.js / TypeScript

2. Python

3. Java

4. Golang

- Experience building scalable APIs and backend services.

- Strong understanding of :

1. Data structures and algorithms

2. Object-oriented and distributed system design

3. Multithreading and concurrency concepts

- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as :

1. PostgreSQL

2. MySQL

3. MongoDB

4. Redis

- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.

- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and backend security practices
